Hilsen fra Skogfjorden!

I'm lucky to be spending this week at Skogfjorden, Concordia College's Norwegian Language Village. In just a few hours the first deltaker will be arriving and Skogfjorden's 50th summer will officially begin! The staff has been busy for the past week preparing for the summer but they also took some time to create this video. Check it out!

Skogfjorden will be celebrating it's 50th anniversary June 22–24. You can read about it—along with a history of the program—in the June issue of Viking magazine. If you're an alumni camper, staff member, parent or friend of the village, it's not too late to register to be part of the celebration.

Did you know that since 1984 Sons of Norway has awarded an estimated 5,500 camp scholarships to the children and grandchildren of its members? There are language camps in all eight districts of Sons of Norway; to find the camp nearest you, visit the Sons of Norway website.

Amy Boxrud is editor of Viking magazine. She lives with her family in Northfield, Minn., where she’s a member of Nordmarka 1-585.
